Overview
HKL-2274 Apparatus for Oxidation Stability of Distillate Fuel Oil conforms to the ASTM D2274 Standard Test Method for Oxidation Stability of Distillate Fuel Oil (Acceleration Method). This apparatus covers the measurement of the inherent stability of Middle distillate petroleum fuels under specified oxidizing conditions at 95°C. This test method provides a basis for the estimation of the oxidation stability of middle distillate fuels such as No. 2 fuel oil.
Features
Both heating and cooling baths of this instrument are built of stainless steel, which provides excellent resistance to rust.
The instrument implements a heating electric element controlled by a solid-state relay, and features safer and more precise operation with non-contact switching technology.
The temperature controller of this instrument is a digital PID type and imported one with an accuracy of ±0.1℃; thus, it can intuitively display temperature and give accurate readings. Besides that, it is capable of compensating for sensor aging errors.
The timer is basically a digital display time relay, which means that it is possible to change and multiply the time settings.
The dark chamber of the equipment, which serves as a temporary place for the sample during the testing period, has great features of blocking light. For ventilation purposes and heat dissipation, a small fan has been incorporated inside the dark chamber.
The equipment consists of six flow meters and pressure gauges, which ensure accurate control of the gas flow by means of coarse, fine and precision adjustments, thus enabling the simultaneous testing of six samples.
