Overview
HKL-4650 FTIR Spectrometer for Rubber Analysis conforms to the ISO 4650 Rubber - Identification - Infrared spectrometric methods. This International Standard specifies two methods for the identification of rubbers, including thermoplastic elastomers, either in the raw state or in the form of vulcanized or unvulcanized mixes. Both methods consist of analysing the polymers by their pyrolysis products (pyrolysates) or by films cast from solution or obtained by moulding (for raw rubbers only).
Features
Strong Optical Stability System:It is designed an integral optical platform with a fully molded structure in which critical elements reach permanent alignment during the assembly process. This design, on the one hand, removes the need for calibration after delivery, drastically increases the stability of operations, and, on the other hand, totally solves the maintenance problems that are typical of traditional optical setups.
High-Performance Electronic System: The system features a state-of-the-art 24-bit analog/digital converter which can handle signal conversion at a speed of 500kHz. It is also mounted with a very sensitive imported IR detector, which allows capturing of spectral data in real time. At the same time, data accuracy and reliability can be guaranteed. The USB 2.0 communication interface which is the latest one not only facilitates the data transfer speed but also enables sample testing within seconds.
Efficient Humidity Control System: Equipped with a sealed interferometer that instantly shows the humidity level, this design hardly requires operators to perform any maintenance. The desiccant has a separate color-changing indicator that signals users of the need for the replacement—this way, the most common problem with operating FTIR spectrometers can be avoided. Besides, the ease of desiccant replacement without the necessity of removing the instrument cover is another great feature.
Integrated corner mirror molding process: Moving mirror and fixed mirror both use integral molding gold-plated corner mirror to guarantee the best light throughput and highest reflectivity; bonding-free type is not influenced by ambient temperature so that the instrument can get higher intrinsic stability.
