HKL-DCW(N) Series Thermostatic Bath for Rotational Viscometers
Overview
The system uses a powerful single-chip microcomputer control with a self-tuning PID regulator and is capable of cooling fast and maintaining temperature with accuracy. There is a big backlit LCD screen for nice visualization of the parameters. Besides, there is a broken heating element protection device to effectively prevent equipment malfunctions like thermal runaway. This instrument runs with stable and reliable performance and features user-friendly operation.
The system displays excellent linearity over the entire temperature control range. It reaches a temperature control accuracy error as low as < 0.2°C with temperature fluctuations kept within ±0.05°C at a display resolution of 0.1. When precision is further improved, this line lowers the temperature control accuracy error to < 0.1°C and keeps temperature fluctuations within ±0.03°C at a display resolution of 0.01.
Unlike traditional designs which still rely on mechanical switches, the interface performs the switch function completely without mechanical parts, thereby also making it a highly waterproof one. The entire Thermostatic bath has only one power switch embodied by the switch at the back of the control box. Both heating and cooling are carried out in an automated way so that users do not need to do anything physically for the process to be completed. Hence, this not only makes the operation more efficient but also leads to the improvement of the system reliability.

2. The constant temperature bath can be directly connected to a viscometer or linked to a temperature-controlled cup via external circulation. By default, it is compatible only with 400 mL high-form beakers, which are placed in the circular opening of the bath and secured with a clamping device. The bath is compatible with viscometers that use standard cylindrical rotors.
3. The system provides two modes of testing: direct in-bath constant-temperature testing or an external circulation mode, which involves the transfer of a precisely regulated bath fluid to the samples through insulated tubing and a temperature-controlled cup.
4. Its distinctive feature being a square opening and a stainless steel beaker holder integrated within the structure. The model works great with Brookfield viscometers and other types of viscometers with infinitely variable speeds. On account of a disc rotor, this unit needs a bigger sample container. This can hold a 500ml big beaker or other containers and is compatible with a variety of standard viscometer models.

5. Giving the user the option of setting the heating rate by choosing from preset multi-stage programs that allow for accurate temperature control.
