Overview
HKL-721 Petroleum Wax Oil Content Analyzer conforms to ASTM D721 Standard Test Method for Oil Content of Petroleum Waxes. The sample is dissolved in methyl ethyl ketone, the solution cooled to -32 ℃(-25℉) to precipitate the wax, and filtered. The oil content of filtrate is determined by evaporating the methyl ethyl ketone and weighing the residue.

The instrument is designed to be compact, aesthetically pleasing, and highly practical for user convenience.
The instrument adopts a modular, split design, consisting of three parts: a wax melting tank, a wax cooling tank, and a low-temperature cooling tank. All three are dual-channel sample processing units, capable of processing two samples simultaneously.
This product uses a thermostat as its core control unit and employs a digital display high-precision temperature control module for adjustment. The temperature of the thermostatic bath is measured by a PT100 sensor. This sensor features rapid response and high reliability, capable of reflecting temperature changes instantly and accurately. The thermostat's output ensures precise temperature regulation, thereby maintaining the equipment's operation within the standard-specified error range.
The instrument is equipped with a wax evaporation chamber, which maintains the ambient temperature around the reagent bottles at 35±1°C and is precisely controlled by a digital PID temperature regulator. An illumination tube is installed at the bottom of the evaporation chamber for easy observation.
The evaporation chamber is equipped with a flow meter, allowing real-time adjustment of gas flow via a control knob.
The instrument utilizes compressor refrigeration technology, enabling rapid cooling upon startup. The evaporation device provides a stable, ample, clean, and dry airflow.
