HKL-60156 Insulating Oil Breakdown Voltage Tester conforms to ASTM D1816 Standard Test Method for Dielectric Breakdown Voltage of Insulating Oils of Petroleum Origin Using VDE Electrodes, ASTM D877 Standard Test Method for Dielectric Breakdown Voltage of Insulating Liquids Using Disk Electrodes and IEC 60156 Insulating Liquids–Determination of the Breakdown Voltage at Power Frequency. Determination of the breakdown voltage at power frequency Oils that combine a high flashpoint with high dielectric strength have long been used as an insulating medium in transformers, switchgear and other electrical apparatus.
