Overview
HKL-510 Solidification Point Tester conforms to the GB/T 510 Determination of solidification point for petroleum products. This device positions the specimen inside a test tube of the standard size and brings the temperature down to the set value. The document outlines the procedure for figuring out the freezing point of oil products. Put the specimen in a test tube of a certain kind and chill it to the estimated temperature. After warming the test tube at an angle of 45° with the horizontal, leave it to rest for 1 minute. See if the surface of the liquid changes its position. The solidification point of the sample is the highest temperature at which the surface of the liquid does not move.
Features
This device is intended for the testing of pour point of petroleum products.
The cooling bath is of a dual-cell single-temperature type with a compressor refrigeration system. Each temperature point can be set independently, which makes the operation flexible and easy to use.
Air-cooled (fan-based) system – a system that doesn’t require cooling water circulation outside of the unit. Just plug it in and start refrigeration.
This product is fitted with a smart temperature controller that ensures accurate temperature adjusting. It features a special solenoid valve that helps a lot in making temperature control more accurate as well as increasing the lifespan of the compressor. It can be changed to any set point within the working cooling range. Uses a Pt100 sensor which is not only highly sensitive, has a very good resolution but also has high anti-interference capability and temperature control accuracy (±0.1°C).
