Overview
HKL-4007 Crude Oil Water Content Testing Centrifuge conforms to the ASTM D4007 standard test method for Water and Sediment in Crude Oil by the Centrifuge Method and ASTM D893 standard Test Method for Insolubles in Used Lubricating Oils. Equal volumes of crude oil and water-saturated toluene are placed into a cone-shaped centrifuge tube. After centrifugation, the volume of the higher density water and sediment layer at the bottom of the tube is read.
Features
The centrifuge is equipped with a microcomputer processor for accurate control. Its large 7-inch high-definition LCD touchscreen can display various information at the same time such as rotor number, speed, time, temperature, centrifugal force, acceleration/deceleration rate, and fault details.
With an annular heating element for automatic temperature control, it can heat up quickly and distribute temperature evenly.
The glass tubes are made through a unique process; that is why they can still remain intact after the operation.
Sensor based electric door lock automatically operated and it can be unlocked in emergency, drastically reduces operator workload.
Built-in overspeed, overtemperature, and imbalance protection systems. The stainless-steel chamber is equipped with three layers of protection, making it safe, reliable, and easy to use. Run data export via a USB interface is provided, which ensures the integrity of data.
The direct-axis motor spindle offers better thermal stability. The alloy aluminum rotor base is lined with heat-resistant silicone pads, effectively protecting glass tubes during centrifugation.
