Overview
HKL-665 Apparatus for Rust-preventing of Gasoline Detergent conforms to the ASTM D665 Standard Test Method for Rust-Preventing Characteristics of Inhibited Mineral Oil in the Presence of Water. This test method covers the evaluation of the ability of inhibited mineral oils, particularly steam-turbine oils, to aid in preventing the rusting of ferrous parts should water become mixed with the oil. This test method is also used for testing other oils, such as hydraulic oils and circulating oils. Provision is made in the procedure for testing heavier-than-water fluids.
Features
This instrument uses an electrically heated tube as its heat source and combines a highly accurate Pt100 RTD sensor. This duo guarantees high temperature sensitivity, excellent measurement resolution, and strong resistance to electrical noise. The system offers very accurate temperature control and measurement, which are shown on a clear digital display, all within a simplified and compact design.
The instrument panel is touch-sensitive, making it possible to control by just a slight touch.
It is equipped with a motorized impeller that helps to circulate the water, thereby breaking up temperature layers so that the system remains uniform without requiring the operator to lift a finger for stirring.
The digitized temperature controller improves sample temperature control with greater accuracy and efficiency while temperature display is made more straightforward along with temperature regulation at a very high precision level.
This equipment is fitted with four separate stations and can process four samples simultaneously, maintaining the same high level of thermal stability even during long, uninterrupted operation.
With the integrated precision timer, one gets a very accurate and dependable time recording.
The instrument is equipped with a standard-compliant, high-performance grinder for enhancing the performance to a superior level.
