Overview
HKL-665 Rust-preventing Characteristics Tester conforms to the ASTM D665 Standard Test Method for Rust-Preventing Characteristics of Inhibited Mineral Oil in the Presence of Water. This apparatus covers the evaluation of the ability of inhibited mineral oils, particularly steam-turbine oils, to aid in preventing the rusting of ferrous parts should water become mixed with the oil. This test method is also used for testing other oils, such as hydraulic oils and circulating oils. Provision is made in the procedure fortesting heavier-than-water fluids.
Features
The instrument is fitted with an electric heat tube that produces heat and the temperature is sensed by a Pt100 sensor. This sensor is capable of providing superior thermal response, high measurement resolution, strong noise immunity, small size, and precise temperature control and reading, the readings being displayed digitally.
The instrument panel features a touch-sensitive panel that enables users to control it with a mere light touch.
To remove temperature stratification, an automatic stirring system is included that ensures even temperature throughout the bath with less manual work.
Featuring a simple interface for watching live changes to sample temperature and very precise adjustment capabilities, this digital controller will allow you to control sample temperature accurately and efficiently.
With a four-place head, this instrument is capable of preparing four samples at the same time. It is built for continuous, non-stop working with superior temperature stability.
