Overview
HKL-86 Distillation Apparatus for Petroleum Products conforms to the ASTM D86 Standard Test Method for Distillation of Petroleum Products and Liquid Fuels at Atmospheric Pressure. A 100 ml specimen of the sample is distilled under prescribed conditions for the group in which the sample falls. The distillation is performed in a laboratory batch distillation unit at ambient pressure under conditions that are designed to provide approximately one theoretical plate fractionation. Systematic observations of temperature readings and volumes of condensate are made, depending on the needs of the user of the data. The volume of the residue and the losses are also recorded.
Features
This instrument adopts a front-mounted single-tube structure, with a distillation furnace heated by electric heating wire for rapid temperature rise.
The instrument can test samples at ambient temperature up to 60°C (or 80°C), making it a versatile machine.
The device uses an imported digital PID temperature controller for precise temperature regulation. The sensor utilizes a Pt100 thermocouple, ensuring high sensitivity, resolution, and strong anti-interference capability.
The temperature control circuitry is fully installed on the baseboard, designed with standardized and rational processing for easy maintenance.
The temperature adjustment circuit for the distillation furnace is an independent module, allowing adjustable settings and convenient maintenance.
