This test method covers a simple beaker-type procedure for evaluating the effects of engine coolants on metal specimens under controlled laboratory conditions.
Features
The Heating Bath of the instrument is Metal bath.
It can be used for automatic temperature control at any set point between ambient temperature and 88 °C.
The temperature control system is based on a Japanese Fuji digital PID temperature controller with a very quick sensor response, high resolution, good anti-interference capability, and high accuracy in temperature measurement and control.
Flow meters control the airflow and allow adjustment as per the requirements. PT100 sensors provide both sensitive detection and a wide measuring range.
The unit is designed to work with three test wells, which allows simultaneous sample testing for comparing the results. Every heating bath has been outfitted with a gas nozzle which is connected through silicone tubes to create a thorough gas supply system.
The instrument is equipped with a master pressure gauge valve and three separate flow meters to make air flow control very easy.
An air pump supplies the gas, and gas nozzles can be used to connect the equipment to the external gas sources if necessary.
