Overview
Adhesives (bonding agents) are, for the most part, complex formulation systems made up of several components. Their composition can be mainly divided into two halves: first, the base raw materials which are responsible for the main bonding function; second, different additives used to optimize the bonding effect and meet the varied processing and production requirements. Among the most commonly used additives are curing and vulcanizing agents, vulcanization accelerators, anti-aging agents, plasticizers and toughening agents, diluents. The main use of the HKL-FTIR Spectrometer for Adhesives Analysis is to analyze the main components of adhesives. It is equipped with a technology known as Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) infrared spectroscopy. Different adhesives display unique characteristic absorption features in the infrared spectrum which is what this instrument by virtue of these features is capable of performing the qualitative analysis of the main components.
Features
The optical system achieves remarkable stability with a single-piece, molded optical bench assembly. Every major component is accurately set up at once without requiring recalibration which not only provides superior instrument dependability but also removes the maintenance difficulties of usual optical designs.
The advanced electronics system includes a top-of-the-line 24-bit ADC with 500 kHz conversion speed, together with a highly sensitive IR detector that is the direct original factory import. This set-up makes it possible to acquire spectral data continuously thus keeping the data genuine and trustworthy. Smart Humidity Management System: This design combines a sealed interferometer capable of instant humidity detection to reduce operator maintenance time. The integral molding process of the corner mirror: Both the moving and fixed mirrors use integrally molded gold-plated corner mirrors, thus greatly improving the light throughput and allowing the reflectivity to be very high; since the design without bonding is not affected by the temperature of the surroundings, the instrument can have even higher intrinsic stability.
