This practice is useful for determining the carbon-type composition of Mineral insulating oil and lubricating oil. It is primarily intended for use with new oils, either inhibited or uninhibited. The primary purpose of this practice is to characterize the carbon-type composition of an oil. It is also applicable in observing the effect on oil constitution, of various refining processes such as hydrotreating, solvent extraction, and so forth. Also, the users can even do the desiccant replacement swiftly and easily by without the need to open the instrument's outer casing.
Monolithic Corner Mirror Technology: Movement and fixed mirrors are made using monolithic gold-plated corner reflectors. The all-metal, adhesive-free configuration of the edge reflects allows for maximum light transmission and reflection at the same time as the thermal drift resistance ensures the performance of the instrument is stable by nature.
