This test method allows you to find out how much biodiesel made of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) is in diesel fuel oils. It can be used for concentrations changing by volume between 1.00 and 20%. This method, however, may be used only for FAME. Biodiesel is a blendstock commodity mainly used as a value-added blending component with diesel fuel. This test method can be used to check quality during the production and distribution of diesel fuel and biodiesel blends containing FAME.
