Overview
The HKL-972 Gas Chromatograph for Analysis of Liquor conforms to the AOAC Official Method 972.10 Alcohols (Higher) and Ethyl Acetate in Distilled Liquors: Alternative Gas Chromatographic Method. The intent is to use gas chromatography with an internal standard to quantitatively measure the levels of certain fusel oils (higher alcohols) and ethyl acetate in distilled spirits (whiskies, brandies, vodkas, gins, rums, etc.)

This system is mainly aimed at making fast-temperature recovery possible and it has a large-capacity column oven. The high-power fan, coupled with the automated intelligent rear-exhaust cooling system, has made the cooling speed even better.
Along with safety measures for over-temperature protection, it includes strong mechanisms for preventing circuit corrosion and suppressing interference.
It allows multi-segment temperature programming and external event control, so you can do timed, quantitative and cyclic sample injection by multi-valve switching.
The optional automatic liquid sampler makes it possible to fully automate and have unattended sample injection going on at the same time, which greatly increases throughput and operational efficiency.
