Overview
The HKL-UPTA Series Ultrapure Water System conforms to the ASTM D1193 Standard Specification for Reagent Water and ASTM D5127 Standard Guide for Ultra-Pure Water Used in the Electronics and Semiconductor Industries. This instrument will fulfill the water requirements of chemical analysis and physical testing methods. Furthermore, it can also be used for the water quality standards associated with the manufacturing of electronics and semiconductor industries.

5.1-inch big-screen LCD panel with English language operating system display, for showing real-time work status.
Water quality and temperature monitoring in three different water paths: feed water, RO water, and UP water, thus allowing complete online monitoring.
It is equipped with triple-circulation operation with auxiliary recirculation through the cycle time to always ensure stable water quality.
Through a dual-stage reverse osmosis design, the service life of the ultrapure water pack is significantly extended.
English language option feature for easy language preference.
Lifetime setting of consumables such as pre-treatment, RO membrane, UV lamp, and ultrapure water pack can be changed by the user, and it also shows the used and remaining time of consumables.
Free control of switching the circulation system on or off, which is one way to prolong the lifespan of the ultrapure water pack.
Automatic alert for consumable replacement, helping us avoid degradation of water quality.
System settings are password-protected to keep the unauthorized changes of data.
Timer and dosage water dispensing function.
The regular one-touch sterilizing feature allows quick sterilizing of the RO membrane, the circulation lines, and the water tank, providing instant low levels of bacterial contamination.
The printer can be connected via an RS-232 communication module to print water quality reports (option).

Q1: What fields is the ultrapure water system suitable for?
A: This product is commonly found in laboratory analysis and life science studies where top quality water is a must. The list includes High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Mass Spectrometry (MS), Ion Chromatography (IC), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Molecular Biology (PCR) cell culture, reagent preparation and even the final rinsing of glassware.
Q2: Does the system have any requirements for the feed water quality?
A: Reverse Osmosis (RO) water, distilled water, deionized water, or drinking water are the best options as a feed to maintain the quality of produced water and extend the life of consumables. If tap water is to be used, an internal or external RO pre-treatment system (comprising a PP sediment filter, activated carbon filter, and softening resin) should be chosen as a supplementary installation. Operating parameters of the system will be changed by itself according to the quality of the feed water, and indications for the replacement of the pre-filter will be given.
Q3: Is it user-friendly? Does the maintenance require a team of dedicated personnel?
A: It is very easy to operate. With a high-definition full color touch screen, one only needs to look once to see all information (water quality, water temperature, consumable status, alarm notifications). Quantitative water dispensing and automatic circulation are two functions that the system supports. The main task for daily care is simply changing consumables when prompted by the system which can be done without help from a professional technician.
