Overview
The HKL-16000 Gas Chromatograph for Indoor Pollution Control conforms to the ISO 16000-6 Indoor air —Part 6: Determination of organic compounds (VVOC, VOC, SVOC) in indoor and test chamber air by active sampling on sorbent tubes, thermal desorption and gas chromatography using MS or MS FID. A certain amount of air sample is collected from the indoor air and drawn through one (or more) adsorbent tubes. The compounds retained by these adsorbent tubes are then analyzed. The compounds collected are heated to release them and then the compounds are moved to a gas chromatograph with capillary column to detection and analysis.
