The HKL-G20 Gas Chromatograph for Nitrogen analysis, Food Additive conforms to the GB 29202 National Food Safety Standard Food Additive – Nitrogen. Zirconia is used as the detector in the gas chromatograph. The components hydrogen, oxygen, methane, and carbon monoxide in the sample gas are first separated by the chromatographic column, and next they enter the detector where they give rise to respective chromatographic peak signals. The quantitative analysis is carried out by the external standard method.
